The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, demons, and dark forces increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to begin their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a brutal opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then paid off his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in House Halovar could assist the team enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the city for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to head to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
